From the North

Take I-79 to Exit 72 (Pittsburgh exit) which will take you onto I-279 South.
Continue on I-279 South, and look for exit signs for the Fort Pitt Bridge/Airport. This will lead you across the Fort Duquesne Bridge to Exit 10 (Fort Duquesne Boulevard). The distance from I-279 South to the Fort Duquesne Bridge is 11 miles.
Once on the Bridge, take Exit 1A-Convention Center/Ft. Duquesne Blvd to the left onto Fort Duquesne Boulevard.
Turn Right onto Stanwix Street.
Turn Left onto Fourth Avenue.

From the Northeast

Head toward PA-28S on East Ohio Street (PA-28).
Take the I-579S / I-279S / I-376 / Veterans Bridge/ Fort Pitt Bridge Exit onto I-279S toward I-376W / Ft. Pitt Bridge/ Airport.
Take Exit 1A-Convention Center/ Fort Duquesne Blvd to the left onto Fort Duquesne Boulevard.
Turn Right onto Stanwix Street.
Turn Left onto Fourth Avenue.

From the Northwest

Take Route 65S toward Pittsburgh.
Take the I-376E / Downtown Pittsburgh / I-279S / Ft. Pitt Bridge / Airport/ Monroeville Exit onto Fort Duquesne Bridge.
Take Exit 1A-Convention Center/ Ft. Duquesne Blvd to the left onto Fort Duquesne Boulevard.
Turn Right onto Stanwix Street.
Turn Left onto Fourth Avenue.

From the South

OPTION #1 Via Rt 19N and Liberty Bridge/Tunnel
Follow Route 19 North through the Liberty Tunnels. Upon exiting the tunnels, you will now be on the Liberty Bridge.
Stay in the right lane and take the Boulevard of the Allies exit.
Make a left at the stop sign onto the Boulevard of the Allies and follow to the intersection of Stanwix Street and Boulevard of the Allies.
Make a right onto Stanwix Street.
Turn right onto Fourth Avenue.

OPTION #2 Via I-279N and Fort Pitt Tunnels
Follow I-79 North and take the I-279 Pittsburgh exit (Exit 59A).
Follow I-279 North straight for several miles staying in the left lane leading you into the Fort Pitt Tunnels. Upon exiting the tunnels, you will now be on the Fort Pitt Bridge.
Follow the sign for the Boulevard of the Allies.
When coming down the off ramp, bear right onto the Boulevard of the Allies.
You will come to a traffic light. Make a left onto Stanwix Street.
Proceed through first traffic light. After traffic light, make a right onto Fourth Avenue.

From the East

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike, take Exit 6, Monroeville.
Follow the signs to Pittsburgh taking the I-376 West to the Stanwix Street Exit.
Proceed through three traffic lights. After third traffic light, make a right onto Fourth Avenue.

From the West

Take Route 60 South or Route 22/30 until it merges into I-279 North.
Follow I-279 North straight for several miles staying in the left lane leading you into the Fort Pitt Tunnels. Upon exiting the tunnels, you will now be on the Fort Pitt Bridge. The left lane turns into the second-to-the-right lane on the Fort Pitt Bridge.
Follow the sign for the Boulevard of the Allies.
When coming down the off ramp, bear right onto the Boulevard of the Allies. You will come to a traffic light. Make a left onto Stanwix Street.
Proceed through first traffic light. After traffic light, make a right onto Fourth Avenue.

From the Airport

Take 376E Towards Pittsburgh until it merges into I-279 North.
Follow I-279 North straight for several miles staying in the left lane leading you into the Fort Pitt Tunnels. Upon exiting the tunnels, you will now be on the Fort Pitt Bridge.
When coming down the off ramp, bear right onto the Boulevard of the Allies. You will come to a traffic light. Make a left onto Stanwix Street.
Proceed through first traffic light. After traffic light, make a right onto Fourth Avenue.
Getting Downtown Via Public Transit:
Hop on a bus or go underground to any one of the four light rail (‘T’) stations. It will cost you less than you might expect — in some cases, it won’t cost you a thing. PPG Place is just a few steps away from the Gateway “T” stop.

Transit

Downtown ‘T’ rides within the free fare zone are free all of the time between Gateway Center, Wood Street, Steel Plaza, First Avenue, and the North Side Station.

The North Shore connector links downtown to the North Shore, taking “T” riders to PNC Park, Heinz Field, the Science Center, and the Rivers Casino.

Rides are free from Downtown to the North Side and Allegheny “T” Stations.

Parking

The PPG Place Wintergarden is located in One PPG Place.

Public Entrance is located on Third Avenue. Public must show government-approved photo identification (driver’s license, military card, etc.) to gain access to the garage.

The PPG Place parking garage is open 24/7

For exit from garage after closing, see the security guard in the lobby of One PPG Place.

Pay station is located on the first level of the garage. Cash and all credit cards accepted. All payments must be made at the pay station 15 minutes prior to exiting. You cannot pay in advance.
